Well, there you have it, last night, at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco was a great award ceremony called the Crunchies from TechCrunch. (I know, I thought that "Crunchies" were a cereal too! -- but no, Crunchies are some award with a monkey that is holding a bone. Nobody I spoke to had any idea why)

I thought I was going to win Best CEO, but for some reason Netmodular didn't win anything at all.

Rats!

Anyway, it was fun to be had by all, and there were a lot of great startups and people that make things happen here in the Silicon Valley.

We had international awards, best CEO, best bootstrap, best biz model...

So many, I forgot!

We spoke with Anya Shapina, of Global Netoptex - which is also our main internet provider at our preferred server facility, 365Main and Jamy (no!, not Jammy, say, Jay-Mee) Nigri at Aria who does some neat stuff with online payments - you should check them out http://ariasystems.com/

What else? Aside from NOT winning anything, we had a good time talking with PR Maven, Judy Curtis, President of SiPR, or Strategic Implementation of PR from Redwood city, check Judy out at http://www.sipr.com/

We ran into one of our online community advocate pals, Pascale Diaine, who is a great advocate of social networking and a business pro herself. You can always fine Pascale on Facebook! Click to Open Web Page

Next year, I fully expect Netmodular to sweep the awards, but this year, all I got was my photo taken with the winner of the biggest waste of time on the web, Kongregate

Kongregate wins, and all I got...
Well, since Netmodular didn't actually win ANYTHING, at least I got my photo taken with someone from Kongregate, who took pity on us for being losers.

Well, that's all the news that was fit to print! See you all next year --
