Electronista reports that MySpace developing native iPhone app

Electronista "has learned" that MySpace is in the midst of developing a native iPhone.

There is an software developer's kit for the iPhone that should be available this thursday, or at least a road map of the SDK as announced by Apple last wednesday.

Of course, myspace could clean up their website version for the iPhone, even Facebook has a nice iPhone'ish application that runs reasonably well on iPhone and many other portable web devices.

The question is, if Myspace is developing a special application that requires more than can be done on a website - then what are they planning to do?
